Factor in the cost of living rise from 1967 and it only calculates to $300,000-$400,000. Shows how the NFL has really gained in popularity. Plus that was the first Superbowl and everybody expected (and got) a blowout.A 30 second ad during this year's SB will run you $4 million. That's up from $3.5 mil last year. The same ad in 1967? $47,000

You mean WKU? That's a pretty cool story.
Who was the first Horned Frog to play in a Super Bowl?
Crunch,
Plunkett?
And technically Eli, but he's not eligible for the HOF.
As a Niner fan I was heart broken when the bengals took Andy Dalton in round 2. I thought the niners had a chance at him. Little did I know they'd trade up to get the great Colin Kaepernick. Needless to say, if that man gets my frogs to the rose bowl and wins the niners a 6th Super Bowl I may name my next born Colin.
Awesome - didn't know that. I was thinking Jim for some reason - my mistake.
Jim became an assistant for his dad at WKU when they were not very good and the football program was on the brink of being shut down. Jim, with John's assistance, helped in recruiting and evaluations and WKU won a national championship shortly after Jim left.

Only 1 quarterback has ever started and won 2 Superbowls, and is not in the NFL Hall of Fame. He is also one of my favorite, evers.
