Why the hell did we take a quarterback who’s not ready for the speed of play of this league? If the whole point of this season was to rebuild, why not rebuild with one of your young quarterbacks?

His completion percentage was 62.5% which isn't bad, but some of what you are talking about probably forced him to take more check downs then say he will once he is more comfortable in the offense.

Let us pray that he is not that bad. I do believe he didn't look that much better than Delton in his debut.

Ultimately, everything is the coaches' fault. snapper biffing. The overall special teams play. NC came within inches of blocking punts and field goals. H Frogs not so much.

Biggest concern going forward is the coaches myopic focus on no turnovers at the expense of TCU experiencing a 70% drop in "explosive plays"

Belichick made a killer living coaching pro football by "taking out" the best player on the opposing team. NC made 2nd Q adjustments and did a gangland style takeout of Jeremy Payne. TCU coaches feeding the ball to Payne was a mistake.

There is no one who follows football that does not know Belichick's MO. That our Crack Staff seems to be unaware of this is mystifying...

The schedule lined up in an unfortunate way given the fact that we had a QB moving up from FCS.

I saw almost the exact same thing two years ago. Minnesota had FCS transfer Max Brosmer and his first game was against a P4 opponent - North Carolina. MN lost and Brosmer looked rough. He looked a lot better after a couple games and made an NFL team the next year.

It takes a couple games for a new QB to get up to speed, which is why games against P4 opponents don't usually happen the first week. I wish we had a normal schedule with a couple cupcakes to get players adjusted. We'll see what he can do.

Another thing that hurt is the absence of Dwyer (and maybe Dozie; not sure how he'll do). We didn't have a lot of open receivers and we had a few drops.

He threw 4 balls within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage and missed the receiver/RB/TE so bad they couldn’t even get their hands on the ball!

On the throw into the end zone, the Receiver was 3 yards inside the goal line outer line - and the ball landed 6 yards out of bounds!

You purple colored glasses guys are clowns!

This guy is tremendously OVERRATED!!

This team is 6-6, maybe 5-7!
