Having severe sports depression. Wesleyan opening w a quality D2 opponent didn't help.

Was already bummed that business made downturn and I wasn't in a position to make the trip. It's been a rollercoaster ride ever since. The google gods are fickle.

Payne is a beast.

Small has excellent hands but doesn't appear to be much of a threat after the catch. That being said catching the ball is important.

The Defense was solid.

Someone should tell the QB it's ok to run.

Nothing wrong w kicking a FG in a close game.

Do we have any deepthreats at WR?

On the whole I liked the new scheme but it's not that effective if the OL is average. A deep threat is important too.

If I never see another 2 yard pass to a WR that would be ok w me.

Every time we started to get momentum we got a stupid penalty. That first down signal wave is totally on Sonny, but he wants to yell at the refs. To me that's where we lost the game.

11 penalties is ridiculous. How many years do you need to clean this up Sonny? How fitting that the game ended on a penalty.

My heart bleeds for the long snapper. I've met him a handfull of times and he's a great kid. Funny he never made a bad snap in a game at Wesleyan. While the Rams play at a much lower level they sure do play a lot cleaner brand of ball. The snaps are good, they tackle well, not a lot of missed assignments, and very few stupid penalties.

Sonny is not the answer and can't leave soon enough for me.

I would be ecstatic to go back to San Antonio this year but if anything we'd be lucky to make the Boise blue potatoe bowl.

Somehow the sun came up today and I'm still married to the sweetest woman ever.

Goodnight and Go Frogs.

I can’t blame that on Sonny.
It‘s done in every game on TV, and will be done all year long in other games.
That may be the last time we see it called for the rest of the year.

The TD passes sure would've helped.

Hoover averaged less than 1 INT per game during his career. And Craig fumbled on one of the three times he got sacked. Yes, we miss Hoover.
I'm confident we would have won with Hoover, but the WRs on the field Saturday were underwhelming, and nothing like we had in recent years.

I can't discount the possibility that Hoover would have thrown into tight coverage and/or have passes bounce off of hands, resulting in picks.

We need Dwyer back soon and we need Dozie to turn into a good one. And we REALLY need to stretch the field.

We were competing rather well in college football up until three or four years ago.. Now that we are in an NCAA pro football league and our NIL program is pretty lame it doesn't look to get any better anytime soon unless we get a billionaire sugar daddy like Texas Tech has.
