Law school buddy of mine was in a flat, featureless section of Idaho when he spied afar off what he thought was a Burma Shave sign. When he read it all it said was:

Sadly admit I had to read your post twice to get the picture. Not that you did not paint the scene well, you did. But because the mention of flat, featureless made me think of a drive on 83 north of Minot years ago and the reality of what I was going to be stuck looking at for 3 weeks.
