GP hiring guys no one wanted, versus SD hiring guys that everyone wants has to be obvious to everyone, right? I hate Art Briles with everything I have, but Kendal is his own man. Not sure what his involvement was in the whole situation, but a whole bunch of people at TCU seem to be ok with it, so lets rock and roll.
There is nobody else trying to hire Kendal outside of MSST and TCU

His red zone offense is 70th in the country and racks up garbage time yards between the 20’s

His offenses have had trouble scoring at times. They only got 19 in the loss to Liberty this year. 10 in the loss to LSU. (neither of those had to do with defense.) Same with their game against Aggie.
Yup, and we only got 7 against Georgia & 17 vs. Texas. Every game is different.
The facts are even though Arky’s defense is ranked 30+ spots worse than TCU’s, their offense is still ranked 10+ spots higher.

See, that's the thing: He isn't in demand. Sonny is reaching out for this creep, specifically. Likely out of sympathy for an old friend. Whether or not that is the case, bringing someone on Staff to be on the Front Yard of TCU for all to see who was an integral part of the Baylor [ Baylor accusations ] Scandal is not acceptable. He brings nothing to the table which outweighs that, and there are literally thousands of others who could fill those duties who do not have the stink of Briles about them.
So his Arkansas team averaging 32.5 points per game in the SEC doesn’t intrigue you? We averaged 38.5 this year for some perspective. It’s not like we are taking a QB coach at a D2 school and naming him the OC. KB has some history of success and frankly without the Baylor scandal he’d likely already be a HC at a place like Arkansas.

How long before you Kendall haters figure out that our DC is a Briles guy too?
Yes a Briles guy at stephenville but wasn’t at Baylor during those issues.

But many have noticed the Briles or stephenville connections on the staffing hires. I had thought the best available was the hiring process but it does look like having a Briles connection is part of the checklist now or at least a preferred item to those making the selection.

Was I supposed to type something here?
I wasn’t directing it at anyone. Out of curiousty, what crimes was Kendall guilty of? ACTUAL crimes, not perceived ones.
I have no idea. And, we'll never know, as this happened in McLennan County, and the facts have been carefully hidden away. Yet, we do know that he was instrumental in the recruitment of players who were known problems, and according to media reports at the time he did not tell the whole truth about his involvement to the Baylor investigatory team.

Perhaps he is as pure as the wind-driven snow, and utterly innocent of any kind of wrongdoing. In any case, my opinion is completely meaningless, as it seems that all here are hell-bent on hiring this creep no matter what. It is clear that winning is more important than anything else, and all other considerations are moot. So noted.

Believe it or not I really didn't follow the BU scandal well enough to know fact from fiction. Was he an "integral" part as you say? Was he part of cover up? Was he quoted as dismissing the accusations? What did he do or not do? Was he guilty of something or guilty by association? The past 14 years has instructed us all that jumping to conclusions is faulty.
