If he can cover a 5’10” burner like a good 5’10” DB can cover a 6’4” receiver, it might work out well.
Mitchell is listed in the OP as utility, so don't remember TCU planning to pay him at DB.don't remember des playing much defensive back for the frogs
I think I remember they called him the "Super Gnat"Took me a bit to remember his full name, but I remembered his nickname was "Gnat" Played for the Kansas City Chiefs for 3 seasons. Noland Smith. 5'5" 154 pounds, so a little bigger. One punt return for a touchdown and a 106 yard kickoff return. Looks like he played a little defense as well. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SmitNo00.htm

What position did Mitchell Hanson play in baseball and why the switch to football?
"WR/DB Alijah Woods is listed at 5-3/130 but plays much bigger."
agree that doesn't indicate where the frogs would give him a shot to play, but it is where my comment about db came from in my reply as this is from crypto's original post
am curious why a kid would walk on somewhere and then leave there for another school a semester later when both are a long ways away from home
