Who will be the New Orleans Saints’ second-leading rusher in 2025?

Everyone expects Alvin Kamara to get the majority of snaps in New Orleans’ new-look run game under Kellen Moore, but with Taysom Hill still out, there’s opportunity for unproven guys to make a name for themselves behind Kamara.

One of those players is 23-year-old running back Kendre Miller out of TCU, a third-round pick (No. 71 overall) by New Orleans in the 2023 National Football League draft.

I was thinking about Kendre this morning. Dang - if he could be 100% NOLA would have the difference maker they know he is. Would be great to see him get the train on the tracks!
Just needs to stay healthy. There are lots and lots of players who are plenty good and would be difference makers that just can't stay on the field. It's always something. I'm afraid that might be the case with him, but I hope I am wrong, loved watching him play.

Kendre has it all! Big & tall, tough as hell and can score from anywhere. He came to Ft Worth as a lower 3-star project- a former lower classification quarterback being converted to running back. I'll never forget that 70+/- run in Austin's Memorial Stadium that sealed the win.

Yup.

If Kendre doesn’t get hurt early in the 2nd qtr, we win that Fiesta Bowl by 10+. Dude was so damn good that year.

Hope he’s finally back to full health and can show just how much talent he has.

What if they hadn't fumbled on the 1-yard line and thrown two pick 6's?

We won the game. That's all that matters. Kendre's backup was pretty damn good too, has actually outperformed KM in the NFL.

2025 will show if KM has selected the right doctors, and physical therapists.

TCU has not had a RB gain over 1400 yards and average over 6 YPC since 20 plus years back. Aaron Green (Tran Nebraska) has been the only one close.

What many of us miss is KM's competitive demeanor and Alpha mentality that he brought to the field along with his ability to pick up yards after contact. His vision and ability to gain chunk yardage--- probably better than any of TCUs RBs over the last 25 years.

I hope/think Kellen Moore will not be the cranially dense browbeater that Dennis Allen was.
