Semi-OT: Former FB players' opinions will be needed soon

Guys,

For the Neeley school MBA program I'm working on a currently-theoretical project involving a new football-related product. So far I think it looks ok from the materials and design perspective, but I'm not a former FB player. I would hate to get heavily and realistically into this, perhaps even begin trying to prototype something, if players would take one look at the design and say "no way that works, because of (insert issue x not considered by laymen)".

Would any of you current or former football gods be willing to give feedback once I do a little more research into the physical and structural feasibility of this prospective product? I appreciate it.

I do not. That is something that will be needed if it is blessed by both the physics gods and the football gods. Is that something I can count on you to team up on?

If you would like to suggest one, I'm all ears, but yes, I trust my guy. If he's ever in over his head he'll let me know.

And one thing we've learned in my full-time job/company culture - "trust, but verify".

And no, this is not meant to infer that any or all former FB players I will speak with have brain damage. Likely quite the opposite based on who I have had volunteer.
