Schlossnagle is a class act

Just wanted to pass along this story about coach Schlossnagle following the game.

We were staying at the team hotel and went back there to pick up our cars and head home. While we we getting ready to head back home the team bus rolled up.

So we stood in the lobby and congratulated the players. Coach Schlossnagle walked in, then came over and shook each of our hands, told us "thanks" and then gave us each a hug. I thought that was pretty dang cool of a coach to do.

Nice. He definitely is a class act and has had other coaches comment on that as well.

Like the story though about him letting loose emotionally on the team bus as they were leaving Austin.

He had a great interview on Channel 8 last night. Comes across as very humble. Unlike Gurrido, who comes across as a bloated, know-it-all windbag.

I haven't heard this story yet. Is it in another thread or is there any link to it somewhere?

I watched the special about Omaha and the College World Series and I liked Augie a little more. His story about playing for Fresno State in the CWS and losing then coming back and winning the title as a coach was very interesting.
