TCU takes down Cincinnati for fifth straight win​

Horned Frogs complete program’s best Big 12 regular season, earning 6-seed in conference tournament and securing a ticket to the Big Dance

The TCU Horned Frogs defeated the Cincinnati Bearcats 73-63 to secure a five-game winning streak ahead of the Big 12 Tournament. TCU finished the regular season 21-10 and 11-7 in conference play, marking their first winning record in Big 12 play.

In TCU’s regular-season finale, it hosted a Cincinnati team that had won six of its last seven games. Neither squad got off to a strong start, each recording just one field goal in the first three and a half minutes of action. At the 16:23 mark, the Frogs scored five quick points to Cincinnati’s two to take a 7–5 lead. Another scoring drought followed, lasting several minutes before either team found the basket again.
