The TCU Horned Frogs are rounding out their new staff with a replacement for former assistant AD for football human performance, Kaz Kazadi, who reportedly parted ways with the university a week ago. On Sunday, TCU announced that it has hired Darl Bauer, who previously worked at Troy as the football program’s director of strength and conditioning, to replace Kazadi in Fort Worth. Bauer’s previous experience includes five years at Houston and 10 years at West Virginia, where he started his career as a graduate assistant in 2009. At WVU, Bauer worked alongside former head coach Dana Holgorsen, who briefly served as an advisor at TCU.

Anybody know who came up with the title "human performance"?
is part of the whole multi approach deal. they just had to call it something.
Discipline comes from the mental line. Plays into the physical part. The environment they choose to operate in. The whole fearlessness and attitude of aggression, etc. Then there is the science part (the workout, nutrition).
Stength coaches have evolved. And they are around the players so much that it makes sense. So they oversee nutrition specialists, sports medicine specalists, etc. Just the direction that field is moving.

I'm sure Bauer is excited. TCU's facilities are some of the best in the country. The investment made after the Rose Bowl has brought a lot. Opened the door for more.
