Men’s Basketball: Utah Valley transfer guard Tanner Toolson signs with TCU
Russell HodgesTCU men’s basketball has strengthened its backcourt, with multiple reports indicating the Horned Frogs have signed former Utah Valley guard Tanner Toolson. The 6-foot-5 redshirt sophomore earned All-WAC honors during the 2024-25 season, averaging 13.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 45.3 percent from the floor and 34.9 percent from 3-point range. Toolson started his career at BYU before transferring to Utah Valley, where he’s started 65 games over the last two years. Toolson is the fourth transfer addition for the Horned Frogs, who have lost both Frankie Collins and Vasean Allette to the portal.
