Football: South Alabama WR transfer Jeremy Scott commits to TCU

With TCU set to lose key senior wide receivers such as All-American Eric McAlister and reliable veteran Joseph Manjack IV, the Horned Frogs went into the transfer portal and secured a commitment from South Alabama redshirt freshman Jeremy Scott. The 6-foot-3, 208-pounder from Jackson, Mississippi redshirted last season, but broke out for the Jaguars this season, catching 24 passes for 417 yards and four touchdowns with a season-long reception of 74 yards. Scott is the seventh transfer portal addition and the first wide receiver added by TCU in this portal cycle. The redshirt freshman will arrive in Fort Worth with three years of eligibility remaining.
