One of the most impactful transfers to ever join the Horned Frogs, tight end Jared Wiley came to Fort Worth after three seasons with the Texas Longhorns along with the new TCU coaching staff ahead of the 2022 season. He would have a major impact on the offense in 2022, including the game-tying touchdown in the final minutes vs. No. 8 Oklahoma State, a game the Frogs would go on to win in 2OT, followed up the next week with a season-best 5-receptions, 74-yard, and a TD to take down No. 17 Kansas State.
