About the refs (they blew one or two) and the OC's play calls, and a QB who can or can't throw deep (he can when he has time) and so forth.....but I am right proud of these young Frogs and their perseverence in the face of so many difficulties.....they fought right to the finish against a pretty durn good team today....as they have all year....and don't they have a couple dandy DTs?

Yep, a great season. We're going to have a ton of momentum into next year. Will get a good month of practice, will have several key players back next year.

Now, if we can only work on Avante Collins' penalties...

Think of this team, one year older and with one year of additional practice time as a group. Then throw Pachall into that picture. They will be great next year.

So true Scribe! Bad call on the field goal and hands closing 1/4 second quicker at the end of the game we win! This team is going to be so special over the next few years! Boykin ended the game with 230 yards passing as a redshirt freshman! Too bad he didn't have two years to develop like Casey did under Andy instead he was thrown into the mix. As a great coach once said "Unbelievable"!

It has been a good season. TCU was only out of it in two games. They let one slip away against Texas Tech but pulled one off at West Virginia. The only loss in which I felt TCU was clearly the better team was to Iowa State. That was just a chaotic couple of days. A bowl victory will cap off a good season and leave us with a bright future.

I think about our defense, our key players coming back on offense, our ST players back. The adversity this team overcame. The experience of our coaching staff.

I'm guessing we won't have to worry about too many close ref's calls next year. I'm that optimistic.

This. When we are one of the two B12 teams needing a W to reach a BCS bowl game, I expect that we will receive the benefit of the doubt as well. I do find some irony in that "holding" is called late in this game when it would seem to assist a B12 team in its pursuit of a BCS game when "holding" was blatantly not called late in the game on Thanksgiving when it would seem to assist a B12 team in its pursuit of a BCS game. Or, perhaps irony is not the right word.

No doubt, we can continue to improve on our own end, and hope that officiating will assist us if we represent 20 million to the conference, but the boys deserve lots of credit for a great season!

The voice of reason. Youth is wasted on the young.

This was one of those games that could have easily gotten out of hand. Yet our guys kept battling and we were in it until the end. This team is going to be special in the coming years and I can't wait to see what they look like next year with more experience. The future is bright!
