He also wasn’t dominant. It was a good outing and he limited damage, which is great. But he gave up quite a few hits.

10 SOs and 1 earned run - I will take that non-dominate outing all year long from Nick then

I’ll take 2 runs in 6 innings every time too. The K’s were great. I’m very happy with his performance. I just didn’t consider it dominant. He gave up quite a few hits and was pitching from the stretch quite a bit. Definitely a great sign that he was able to focus and make the pitches when guys were on.

Average in the sense that its just another run of the mill regional hosting year with great potential for more like the last 4 years in a row. Our average is a bit different than most.
