San Gabriel Valley Tribune: Unbeaten TCU looks for respect against big, bad Wisconsin

PASADENA - Texas Christian University, despite back-to-back undefeated regular seasons, has played under the perception that it doesn't match up with the elite programs in college football.

The Badgers, who to some represent the big boys of the BCS, are 11-1 and ranked No. 5 in the Bowl Championship Series standings. Wisconsin shared the Big Ten title with Ohio State and Michigan State.
TCU is ranked No. 3 in the BCS after going 12-0 and winning the Mountain West Conference.

"After 10 years, we finally (reached) a point where all eyes of America are on (us) and we have the chance to prove what kind of program we have.
"We understand we're playing a great team, but we don't have any control over Wisconsin. All I have control over is TCU. So I'll try to make sure (we're) ready to go." ...
