Naturally, Texas A&M’s baseball regional includes TCU
Brent Zwerneman, Staff writerTexas A&M and TCU meeting in the postseason has become a bit of a state tradition in the past seven years. Only this time if the old Southwest Conference foes collide, Jim Schlossnagle will be wearing maroon instead of purple.
“You just play baseball and try not to pay attention to the jersey on the other side,” Schlossnagle said Monday of the decent chance of taking on his old team at some point this weekend. “… Once you get on the field, most of that stuff goes out the door.”
A&M in Schlossnagle’s first season is back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in three years, and back in Blue Bell Park for a regional for the first time in six years.
