The Massey rankings is a compilation of all the computer polls.

They have the average SEC team ranked 37.4 and the average B12 team ranked 34.3.

Six SEC teams are ranked outside the top 40 in Massey and the B12 has only two....with Iowa State not that far out at 51.

He is saying that as a whole, the Big XII is better -. Personally thought B12 may have dropped from 2nd to 3rd... behind PAC12 this year.

A few years ago, the ACC won the Sagarin conference ranking title with a bunch of 7-5 teams. But they all sucked.

The B12 is very competitive, but the 9 game conference schedule killed the conference perception. If we had a bunch of 9-3 & 8-4 teams, every one would be impressed
