Committed to Ole Miss this morning. I'm honestly curious as to what would make him want to. Why would the #1 recruit in the nation commit to Ole Miss over his home school of Georgia, or even the other schools that he was interested in like Florida or LSU? What does Ole Miss have to offer? They went 7-5 and really didn't have any good wins. They haven't really been good for a while. It just seems strange how SEC schools like this can pull these recruits out of the blue. You don't really see this with middle to bottom of the pack teams in other conferences.

I think his brother is there, and his mom is some sort of government official or ambassador in Africa. It's hard for her to make games, so the fact that she could see both sons play together seems to have played into his decision.

You ever been to Oxford, MS? It's a great college town and they have an exciting coach.

Its definitely not Waco or Lubbock. I would question why anyone would willingly spend 4 years of their lives in those towns before I would question spending it in Oxford.

Ahh. His brother playing there does change things. Still, though. It seems like schools like that always happen to pull an out of the blue top 5 recruiting class every couple years.

See Wes's post #10, above.

Aside from Vandy, Dook, and Wake, and a few hoity-toity small colleges like Davidson and Wofford, Ole Miss may be the best around, liberal-arts-wise (Tulane is a case all its own) in the old Land O Cotton. They have the Steinbeck and the Eudora Welty thing going, although Miss Welty spent a lot of time on another campus (small college) nearby.

Point: I like to make fun of Ole Miss as much as anyone else (not from LSU or Southern Miss, who really hate Ole Miss). But Ole Miss has stuff going for it.

Yea, I saw the photo of the Illinois WR with all the money - and Ole Miss deserves it - but for Robert Nkedemiche - I think its a bit dewshy to just assume the kid is getting paid.
