Rivals Radio Discussing TCU

Just listened to Rivals Radio on Sirius. They spent about 20 minutes discussing the Kansas State job and firing of Ron Prince. They also discussed possible candidates for the job. Mentioned: Brett Bielema, Jim Leavitt, Brett Venables and Gary Patterson.

The College Football Analyst they brought on mentioned he thought TCU was a better overall program and job than K. State. Mentioned Gary wouldn't leave for three reasons:

1) He is in a fertile recruiting ground in Texas with some of the best players in the country right in his backyard.

2) TCU is now getting 4 star recruits because of the program and reputation he has built there.

3) That TCU is #11 in the country with one loss and that if TCU would have beaten Oklahoma they would probably be in the national championship game meaning TCU has a better chance to win a national championship than K. State.

Also went on to talk about how he understands Gary and his family LOVE Fort Worth (he also mentioned he likes Fort Worth better than Dallas), that Gary could become one of those coaching "Legends" if he stays at TCU and continues to build.

Also said "make no mistake about it, Patterson has already turned down several BCS programs".

Went on to say that K. State is going to have a very tough time getting a head coach to leave and go to Manhattan, KS. It is going to take Bill Snyder begging someone that has coached under him to come back.

Overall, lots of love for the Frogs.
