Under the old script, when you applied formatting or added images or links to your post, you got to see them in formatted form. Now, instead, you see forum codes. (Blah!) To see the final formatted appearance, you now have to go through the extra step of clicking on Preview Post -- which, in my experience, doesn't always show you an accurate version of your formatted post.
Perhaps this new script is different from my previous experience and the Preview Post is always true to final form.
