After Casey left school back in the fall, he was no longer a TCU student-athlete. Because of this & his exposure in the press, he was fair game to discuss in almost any manner.

From today forward, the rules of KillerFrogs.com apply once again.......where CP is concerned. I encourage you to read/review them again. Especially the part concerning our student-athletes. We will enforce this.

CP has completed treatment for individuals, that is considered brave & tough. I would encourage many of you to respect this issue, by not commenting recklessly on your personal alcohol/drug related over-indulgence issues. I think it is immature & disrespectful to those that have succeeded, in overcoming an epidemic that has destroyed lives/families.

Thanks for posting that. I fully support CP and wish him success off the field and hopefully on the field. Interesting to see the posters that bashed him are now wanting him back.

And Scotty, would you mind posting that rule to my facebook wall as well? Seems that some asshat "TCU Fans" in the social media world don't understand this concept. haha

I don't usually intend to drift off topic, so [FWIW] I think there's a connection here:

Yesterday our church received a new member, who didn't look like your usual Presbyterian when he walked up. He was introduced as having come to the church when he received parole while serving a 30 year sentence. It's enough of a challenge these days for people to go to the front of a church and stand in front of folks anyway, but to do that in his circumstances was even more difficult. He's now a member of our church, no further questions.

Maybe - if you really think there is something behind the "C" in TCU - we should try to give the same sort of courtesy and respect to Casey here.

Time to talk about CP the football player now. Not his outside life. Things like how long will it take him to get sharp again, will he beat out Boykin, Matthews, etc.

Just an honest question, at what point is someone considered not a student athlete anymore? Lets say a certain punt returner as an example?

Maybe we should curtail the comments about Boykin as well. The FRESHMAN was put in a very difficult situation, and did the best he could. Seeing all the ridiculous comments about him infuriated me.

I have stayed classy in my opining about TB. I absolutely love and respect what he did last season. I want the best for him. IMO, that does not include being the everyday QB for the Horned Frogs. He is heading into his 3rd year in the program. Are these statements not 'classy' enough?
