The way OU and its leaders defied UT and Dodds to lobby for our admission into the Big-12, I find it hard to hate 'em except (as GP says) for three hours on Saturday.
I think we have more than just "a chance" to beat them, and that win would be more significant for the conference pecking order in years to come than besting UT was. OU has been winning, or right in the conference hunt, 11 of the past13 years...so, they're conference royalty. It may have been more satisfying to beat UT, but it's more significant to beat OU.
If GP pulls that daily double off, with as little as he's had to work with this season, I give him the nod over Snyder for National Coach of the Year.
