Recruits at UT game?

Not heard anything yet about recruits being at the game but wondering if anyone has heard anything?

Was thinking Kendell Beckwith and maybe Mike Mitchell may have checked the game out but not sure. Would love to get those two players. With us winning the game is there a possibility there could be a de-commit coming our way? I'm hoping the game was a can of worms opening up! :tongue: I still wouldn't mind seeing Gaius Vaenuku coming to TCU just for his name! Reminds me of a good one we lost just hope he's smarter!

Was at the game...one of the TCU player's family member was letting the recruits know as they walked by that it was not too late to decommit or to choose TCU! He got a few smirks, but mostly smiles and chuckles.

I don't believe either were.

I'm pretty sure it was confirmed that Billings was not there (after some reports that he was), and Manning has openly stated that he doesn't like UT, and UT would've had to invite him since it was a UT home game (doubtful)

I wonder if Swoopes was there? He could still switch. UT is going for another quarterback since he had a bad year with injury (per orangebloods). I'm not sure we would offer him QB but anything is possible. We're actually looking good for the next 4 years at QB but never have enough I guess.

He's one of the players I'd hope switches! Remember at the start of the year UT was probably telling recruits "TCU can't play week in and week out and they ain't going to beat us"! :tongue:

I remember the rumor mill last year saying he could start school early! It's a shame we can't get him to budge but there are more out there.
Feisty do you think the game may have helped us with a few recruits that hasn't committed yet or has committed to other schools? If your about to write on your blog some news a "yes" is all I need! :tongue:

Saw Swoopes before the game. After watching UT QB's, he must be wondering if he is a QB, 'cause Texas doesn't a dang thing 'bout evaluationg QB's.....

Texas just doesn't look like they have any coaching.

I think it helped with kids such as Billings and Manning. Definitely helps with the younger kids in HS.

Every UT class thinks they will be the one that turns things around immediately. Each year their recruits seem to say the same thing. Good luck to them.
