With about a month to go until signing day for the class of 2013 and how will the coaches fill the remaining spots? About 3 spots remaining and emphasis seems to be on a DT, big corner and hybrid S/LB.
DT-
Andrew Billings- will visit TCU on Jan 11 and then Baylor on the 25th, decision after Baylor visit. Recruted as a DT by TCU though also an OG. Per ESPN he was approached by TAMU but he said he is down to his 3 and good for now.
Others: several JUCO DTs offered: Marcus Hardison, Demetrius Campbell, Toby Johnson and Ben Bradley though none seem to be currently high on TCU. Gaius Vaenuku DE/DT from Trinity HS also offered but Utah probably the leader with OU and others behind but has been relatively quiet about his favorites so we shall see.
Andrew Billings 6-1/305/4.9 Waco, TX
CB
Top 3 contenders seem to be Troy McCollum who had an in-house with Randy Shannon, Billy Vaughn, JR who is visiting Jan 4 and Damarious Randall JUCO who is visiting Jan 11. All 3 have been written about earlier here but in summary below. Also in consideration is Ray Crockett from Southlake:
Troy McCollum 6-1/170/4.4 North Miami, FL former FIU commit, #3 CB in Dade Cty with over 19 offers, will play in UA Dade v Brower game on Jan 11 so most visits with him are in-house.
Billy Vaughn, Jr 6-1/86/4.32 Los Angeles, CA (Dorsey) speedster commited to SDSU but looking around, transfer from Hamilton HS after junior year. PB of 10.84 in 100m and 21.64 in 200m as a JR. 2011 stats: Offense 3 carries for 26 yards and 1 TD, and 18 receptions for 338 yards. On defense, made 42 tackles, 21 assisted tackles, and 5 INTs.
Damarious Randall 6-0/185/4.4 Mesa AZ (Mesa CC) JUCO All-American & former ASU commit also visiting Louisville & Nebraska and still considering ASU (leader).
Safety/LB
With 4 or 5 OLB/S commits already and the return of Deryck Gildon the class seems to be strong at this position but staff looking for one more at least. Top contenders are Duke Riley & Malcolm Cook. Other possible are Money Hunter from Prosper& Kahlee Woods from Sherman. Also coaches still after a pair committed to Baylor but so far a switch does not seem likely. Another to watch is Taylor Young from DeSoto, kid is a tackling machine and showed very well in the playoffs but under-sized for a LBer however may fit the hybrid role.
Duke Riley 6-1/205/4.6 River Ridge, LA (John Curtis) MVP on state champs (and theoretical NCs), LSU & Tulane seem to have the edge but so far he seems open.

Malcolm Cook 6-1/200/4.4 Fork Union Military, VA (Originally Richmond VA Alexander HS) Played DB/QB in high school, former VA, TCU one of his favorites but VT & Miami lead.
Stats for 2012: 9 ints, 369 yards on int returns & 4 returned for TDs, 1 TD receiving
Other possible names:
QB-
Davis Webb is a Tech commit and showed some sign of wavering when Tuberville left but looking more solid to the Raiders now.
Jake Hubenak all-state QB from Georgetown and hoping for a TCU offer.
RB
Kaleb Blanchard former Arkie commit but TCU probably done at the position.
S
Travon Blanchard BU commit and seems solid but one-time favored TCU.
Dee Paul former SMU commit and Munday star QB, father played briefly at TCU.
DE
Tyus Bowser DE from Tyler John Tyler who had a monster playoff showing. A little undersized but plays big.
K J Smith another BU commit coaches may sway.
