I'll risk having my man card cut in half and having to go before an inquisition to get it reinstated....But, I saw an episode of "Designing Women" last night (yeah, I know I strayed) in which Julia reunited with a college art professor whom she greatly admired....He was in town with a gallery show....He had a portrait of Julia nude (she didn't pose; he sort of A-Eyed the body)....She was horrified, and ranted as she does so well about his using her image, her identify, and a body that wasn't hers in his work....Name? Painting was titiled "Nude Julia".... Image? Her fine body....Likeness? Connect her face with her visible ta-tas, and gallery patrons were noticing her among the obsrvers....NIL in 1993....

After we watch the 10:00 news, my wife insists on watching The Golden Girls, as I’m trying to go to sleep. I can’t put enough pillows over my ears to block out the sound.

Dixie Carter was a spitfire. That first cast was great.

Annie Potts really did it for me in that show. As I'm sure she did for her 4 husbands.

I will say that the Golden Girls was a very funny series - so was Maude, that came after that.

I still prefer Archie Bunker - All in the Family - to any of these series mentioned in this thread.
