ROFL, no. we're still outside. Getting votes, but I don't think people are really going to respect that win that much, Texas has not looked good this season despite the record.

I was wondering the same. Seems like there are a few teams toward the bottom of the top 25 that either lost already or will likely lose today who we will now have an equal or better record than. Could definitely happen

I bet were 24 or 25...Washington losing helps us a ton. Plus us pretty much physically whipping UT on their own field in front of the entire country will be hard for voters to keep UT much higher then us at all.

Possible. Doesn't matter, though. Next week will tell whether we're in or out for real.

Also Arizona lost...and possible Okie State and Michigan losses won't hurt.

We need to win vs OU to make another appearance in the rankings. If we do though, don't be surprised if we jump up higher than 20. At 8-4 with some good wins, I don't see how we wouldn't.

If we beat OU and win our bowl game in convincing fashion, don't be surprised to see TCU in the Top 15 of the final rankings!

You heard it here first folks!

We've been around 29 or 30 in the "others getting votes" in several polls so depending on what happens to teams ahead of us, obviously, we might get close to 24 or 25.

The rankings are just too screwy to predict.

We beat WVU...who was ranked at the time, right? Then we lose to the (then) #1 team in the country. Then we beat the #16 team in the country (think that is what Texas was).

One would think we would crack the rankings, but again, it is all to screwy to predict.

TCU won't be ranked high enough to get consideration for a bowl game for which rankings matter, but we will get a nice game no matter where we're ranked.

Arizona had 4 losses and was #24 in BCS standings. They didn't crack either of the polls but had some votes and they lost to UCLA 66-10.
