Randy Shannon leaving per FootballScoop...

[Punter1]

Arkansas: TCU linebackers coach Randy Shannon is leaving TCU. He has been offered the linebackers job at Arkansas...but he has other offers as well. Sources tell us they expect him to land at Arkansas; but this time of year we're always cautioned that things can change until he's "in the building" and ink is on the paper. We'll keep you updated.

Well, that would suck.

[Planks]

Makes no sense, why would he make a lateral move?

Whatever. Get this [Craig James] out of here. Screw you op for posting this.

Assumption, but the only one that makes any sense.

We already have the DC from Wisconsin but he could be named assistant DC or something because Ash has been looking around for HC jobs. Not sure what you were paying or if we could give him a raise or what

We do have 2 other coaches on staff from the florida area so maybe they know him pretty well. Our new WR coach was at miami this season

I hope this does not impact recruiting

Everyone will decommit. We have to start all over.

[Salfrog]

So much for any of the recruits he was recruiting for us.

[MidlandFrog]

I think he was recruiting a few of the Florida kids, but I don't think any of our kids that are committed had him as their primary recruiter

Wasn't the big OL Kirkland that Feisty reported on another post today one of his recruits?

[TCUWIN]

Fiesty, you do a great job with the recruiting news and I have been wanting to ask, do you have a breakdown of who the recruits have as their primary recruiters for this class? I am curious as to who our CO-OC's have commited and now who Shannon has lined up?

You wish. Arkansas is terrible by the way.

Apparently Bret and Randy have the same agent. For whatever that is worth.
