Question about Frog fans perspective

I believe he did say last week that staying at 11 is a possibility...you're right....at the start they were talking even numbers.

I can't imagine they don't eventually go to 12 or more....but maybe not for a while.

CU starts pac 10 play in 2012 right? We probably won't hear anything for a year or so right? Or does a MWC team have to let the conference know at some point (deadline)? I honestly hate texas now!

Machievelli has never smiled so wide as he is now. OU and UT have just created a fiefdom. Tech luckily is not knuckling under right now. I hope they don't, but they will. At least the folks in Lubbock are wiser than anybody else to know that they have just lost the arms race. The money UT and OU will bring in will be so much more that there is no way that they can keep up, except when they pull off the miracle year.

recruiting is going to be so lopsided. Every city that has a recruit will automatically be encouraged to have the local cable company pick up the UT network. "See, boy momma and your uncles can see you every week."

Then UT makes a run at the Pac-10, they get in with network.

We are lucky where we are, but we are ultimately screwed. Maybe, just maybe, now the MWC will get a bcs berth. With that, we get a shot.

If the Big X gets rid of the conference title game, UT and OU are assured of a conference championship for years to come. KU, ISU, MU, OSU, TTU, and TAMU will never mount a significant long lasting charge to knock UT from the perch. They will literally reload.

Our only hope is that OSU, TAMU, and TTU use the playbook of the SWC. Inform the NCAA of schools cheating.

His plan also included UT. The original Pac-10 schools aren't happy about being stuck with Colorado now, and I think Scott had lost a lot of his influence with the boards of each the schools after being played.

Maybe or maybe not, no one forsaw the networks stepping in and paying out the ying-yang to keep the horns happy and in the fold. I'm not sure that a all out battle is brewing just a few years or months from now. Like how the outcome of WW1 set the whole stage for WW2
