My biggest takeaway from a quick skim of that article followed by 30 seconds of googling is that I'm very disappointed to find out that Purdue has a freshman QB named Jack Plummer and he is NOT Jake's son.

The article reads like this guy will still play. But if he does not, quarterback changes can be tricky because you can sometimes have a backup that is better and finally has an opportunity to shine. This will add a little extra intrigue to the game. But I am more interested in our own QB situation.

Plummer (no relation to former NFL quarterback Jake Plummer) came to Purdue as a highly-touted recruited from Arizona but has not yet thrown a college pass.
