Springer earns his second top 10 of the season, and his first in a primary event. His payout looks to be about $206,000, which is just a shade below what he earned for his T3 in Puerto Rico in March.

More importantly, it moves him from 150th to 125th in the FedEx Cup standings, which puts him in a much better position for retaining his card. Congrats to Hayden!

At least 6 former Frogs in the joint PGA Tour/Eurotour Kentucky tournament opposite the Scottish Open. So far...

-7 Alexander Knappe (T3)
-6 Hayden Springer (T11 thru 15) -- update: Springer birdied 16 & 18 to finish -8 (T2), pushing Knappe to T4
-4 Paul Barjon (T42)
-3 Filippo Celli (T61)
-1 David Ravetto (T106)
-1 Jeong Weon Ko (T106)

After the weekend dust settled, the strongest finish among pro Frogs was Angela Stanford, who finished T26 and won $63,000 in her 102nd (and likely final) major. Ahead of the Paris Olympics, 46-year-old Stanford matched or beat all 3 U.S. Olympians and was T4 before a weather delay ended a stretch where she was 5 under over a 4-hole stretch. (Video includes a TCU mention.)
