Priority Point Freeze

I received an email saying the Frog Club and Ticket office will recalculate Frog Club Priority Points after 3/31. What am I missing here? I assumed they were calculated as you got them.

Prepare to be amazed. I was a number of years ago when I lost most of my points to a “computer glitch”.

I could be wrong, but I think the point of that email was to encourage donations by 3/31 such that the new points would apply to the 2026 football season. The “freeze” in the subject line just seemed like click bait.

I have come to the conclusion that my priority points aren't really worth anything (even with 30 years of purchasing tickets). They never help me get a better seat, and the "extra donations" just have me chasing fools' gold. I've started buying bowl and special game tickets 3rd party (for way cheaper, btw), and I am considering giving up my my season tickets and my priority rank to go in with a group for tickets instead.

TCU athletics has effectively overplayed their hand in my view. They are likely approaching the time they’ll experience what it looks like at the stadiums when they’ve run away so many multi-decade fans.

The area has massive competition for attention and attendance with so many entertainment opportunities around DFW every single week. There’s a recession looming. Fans have been pushed to the breaking point for a decade or so. Great recipe…

Get rid of it and open up ticket availability and seats for basketball and baseball for people who will actually be in the seats. You wouldn't have so many pushed down to GA tiered seating. They could enjoy the game from the stands.
