The NCAA – no wagering, please – announced last week that it will not mandate standard injury reports during the upcoming college football season.

TCU head coach Gary Patterson, as expected, is all in favor of that decision.

“I’m the Belichick way,” Patterson assured. “Say nothing . . , right?”

Gil, not exactly related to this article, but what is the deal with PressBoxDFW currently? I started my subscription in July 2018 (during the sptspage days).

Is the website still subscription only? It seems like I am able to read a lot of these articles even when I am not logged in. Previously that was not the case.

Great SNL skit.

I miss when SNL was not about political party bashing. I miss the creativity mixed in with political satire that was weekend update. Point and Counter Point was hilarious with Dan Aykroyd and Jane Curtain.

I remember there was a time a decade or two ago when SNL was a comedy show.
