Presidents considering expelling LSU from the SEC

What they know and the thing they don't want to be tied to is that Freshwater ain't the only coach or gm in the conference who has been working in concert with lawyers regarding litigation stategies.

Freshwater is an easy target cause he's a prick but Sankey is protecting other sacred cows over there who are doing the very same thing while clutching their pearls and preening about morality.
Ok, gotta ask. how did you come up with Freshwater.
I realize it is probably so obvious that I missed it.

Live look-in at the liquor store next to the SEC home office at halftime of every LSU blowout.

When I lived in SF had a GF from Santone who went to TCU. Her TCU BF had a Porsche and left her in it while he made a beer run inside the Berry 7-11 by campus. Pre-bollard days. She wanted to hear music so cranked the ignition with it in gear and jumped it through the front window. I miss her she was fun.

When I saw “cranked” I knew what was coming next. The joy of manual transmission.

My brother and I did that with my dad’s stick shift mustang. I think I was four and he was five. I got blamed but I’m pretty sure he was the one who wanted to hear the radio. My dad just went inside for two minutes to grab something he forgot. Next thing we knew, we had crashed through the garage door and into the back of our other car. So, we had two wrecked cars and a busted garage door. Was not a good Saturday afternoon at the little guy tcudoc household.

Louisiana has always been that way. I saw that first hand visiting Shreveport and watching nightly news from East Texas. I also spent a few Summers in the 80’s the New Orleans area. Trust me, that is one screwed up corrupt area as well. No telling who got how big of a kickback to do a sorry job with the highways.
They don’t even pretend. Billy Canon, their Heisman winner, was my cousins’ Dentist/Orthodontist (can’t recall which) growing up- until he went to Club Fed for [ Finebaum ] I don’t remember. My other uncle who was a commercial real estate guy, was in thick with a dude named Gil Dozier who was running for governor and was mobbed up. Gil didn’t win, and the disappointment was severe enough that unc’s mansion on Jefferson burnt to the ground. Waddyagonnado.

I have dined in Breaux Bridge. The duck is quite nice!
I cannot say I have had the pleasure of eating at the bridge, but I have enjoyed the excellent cuisine at Tunks Cypress Inn back when I was proudly part of the 23rd Tactical Fighter Wing flying tigers just down the road in Alexandria.

Two stories not necessarily connected but both illustrate the theme. When fast Eddie Edwards was running for governor for the 3rd or 4th time, he made a statement that the only way he was not going to get re-elected was if they found him in bed with a dead girl or a live boy. A different governor’s race I believe the candidate was Dave Treen and he was talking a big story all down the campaign stops about how the state needed better roads and better jobs and better government and so on. To it several people in the back of the room giggled and said to each other “Louisiana don’ want no good government, they want good entertainment.”
I thought that was a very factual statement.

You know politics in a state is screwed up when your only choice for governor is between a known crook and current or former member of the KKK. That was the choice people of Louisiana had to face in the 1990’s when Edwin Edwards beat David Duke.

The old saying is that the Governors serve two terms in Louisiana, one in the Capital and one in jail.
Garbage State, garbage school.

Just my humble opinion. I'm sure there are some very nice areas, but driven through many, many times, and the prevailing feeling is you're kind of a driving through a huge junkyard.
