Webb been gone a long time. My dad was HH43 DETCO there b4 retiring in 1971. He went to Reese for UPT, met my mom there, I also went to Reese, now closed and 305 Harmon Drive is a concrete slab.

Yep, Webb closed my senior year in high school (1978). The latter years after Vietnam, the base was mainly training pilots from Middle Eastern countries.

There were 9 UPT bases in the Webb days, they all had some foreigners but most students were still US. I was a T-38 IP twice, once on AD and initial cadre of the first group that started USAFR program at Vance. Only UPT bases left are Vance, Laughlin, Sheppard, and Columbus. USAF/Navy will send students to each others bases in small numbers.
