Possible coaches if changes are made

We can make all the coaching changes in the world. Nothing will change until we start recruiting better players. Sonny is the exact same coach he was two years ago. The players, mainly offensive, were the difference. I'm not saying the staff deserves to stay if we keep performing poorly. I just think we have more of a personnel issue than most believe. How many above average players do we have outside of QB and WRs? Yes, part of a staff's job is to develop the players, but not every player can be developed into greatness. We need players who are already talented enough to be great quickly.

The offense is not the issue. Can we stop the run please. The offense can score. The defense can’t stop anyone.

Amazing how quickly some forget how mediocre Gary's last 3-4 seasons were. He couldn't win then, what "magic" has he required that would lead to success. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Firing Dykes,and bringing Patterson back, would get you more of the same.

I don't think SD is a bad coach. Today was inexcusable especially with the ejection. I think we have some pretty good players. The problem is that we are playing soft right now. That is true in all phases of the game. We have an offense that won't play complimentary football. With the transfer portal this is turning into Last Chance U.
We need someone to step up and be a man. We need a leader! I saw too many players shying away from contact and not taking challenges head on. Hit somebody! Not everyone has it in them to be a football player. If you don't that is fine, but it is time to quit the game. I think you have to look at the offense and start telling it you have to play complimentary football. You have to control game. Football is won in the trenches, and we are getting manhandled in them. Right now if you put a steak dinner in the trenches our guys would eat the grass as a salad rather than fight for that steak.

Yes, Briles drives me crazy with his " cuteness" at times, but 42 points should get you a-win most days. Just like last year against OU, with us it just gets you blown out by 20 plus!

CFB coaches are CEOs. A competent Board would have him removed.

Anger Management?!? I'd be mad as hell at those incompetent bozos in the stripes as well! The trick is, be specific, and not just call them names...
We tried several RB's today and they all look the same.

Sonny comes across soft and the team comes across soft. Sadly in today’s world you probably need a soft coach to deal with primadonas.

Continuing to keep Cam out there is the definition of insanity.
DJ dropped 2 passes including one right before a strip sack.
Payne fumbled (but was called down) but still never reappeared afterwards.
Bottom line nobody is taking control of the job.

When you’re in a position of authority, you can’t let your anger fog decision making. I think it does with Sonny. GP seemed to be able to snap out of it and get back into game mode quickly.
