Possible coaches if changes are made

GJ Kinne. But no change will be made this year. ADJD will say that a coach who played for a natty two seasons ago deserves another chance. We'll be right back here in twelve months time.
As soon as we extended him, I knew we'd be stuck in that death loop.

Just go back and watch the postgame interview of the national championship...the dude was just happy to be there. Didn't know what went wrong

No shot we should’ve kept Gary. But look at Billy Napier who a lot of us wanted. Tcu is going to be a lightning in a bottle every odd year program going forward. Can’t compete with NIL. Sad new reality of CFB
I am with you here I am not sure if our program can even compete in the modern day CFB landscape. The days of having a program that succeeds by developing players and having a cohesive team of guys who developed in the program for 4-5 years is over.

If the current landscape were around in 2009/2010 most if not all of our good Rose Bowl team players would have transferred out to get that NIL bag.

This is who Sonny is. Today's game is his 30th game with TCU. Through 30 games at his other stops:

La Tech (18-12)
Cal (11-19)
SMU (20-10)
TCU (19-11)

He's an average coach. 7-10 since beating Michigan. 8-11 if you want to go back to the Big 12 championship against KState.

Was I supposed to type something here?
There's lots of flaming seats after this debacle. The complete and total collapse of the Football Program will mean facing a brutal reality of over-extension of a mediocre talent at Head Coach, and the AD who pushed it through. It's accountability time, and we are absolutely unprepared for the reckoning.

I feel like college coaching is a crapshoot these days. The portal and NIL has made it difficult to win by growing players up like GP used to do. It's all about being an ego wrangler and babysitter these days.
You may have identified Sonny's problem. He's a good babysitter and father figure. Crappy football coach.
