I think he has potential , but he made some really really bad decisions in his limited playing. I like Bugg, but chances are we'll find a seasoned vet somewhere in the portal. Plus, Trent Lincoln Coming in, has a good chance to be a star. More vertical athlete. Punch/Robinson are the big ones, but If Diallo is coming back, along with the incoming 7 Footer, and the Serbian Guy, that frontcourt is crowded. with x coming back I figured Punch was a possibiliy to leave but I had heard up until the morning's post that we were likely to retain all 4 of the starters(harding, punch, X, Micah)

i also think with some of this that we have to keep in mind that coaches are probably pushing some guys out/hinting that there won't be time for them. Younger recruits are no longer a huge priority. Anyone have any insight on the money situation behind the scenes?
He showed some promising offensive skills, but he was lost on defense. i am sure that is why CJD did not give him much PT. He really struggled against CU late in that gamer, but so did everyone that day. Unfortunately, there is no time to develop guys like him. If they can't play right away, then they leave ASAP.
I will be very disappointed if Punch and Micah leave, but I don't blame them if they do. I would have left TCU after my sophomore year if someone offered me $500K.

I'm sure PJ Haggarty made some bad decisions and he turned out pretty good.
Just hate losing a local guy who could have given TCU a possible pipeline to Duncanville.

i do not disagree. but man, his freshmen year, he looked very pedestrian. He developed a game and credit to him. Worth noting, he was not on "winning" teams.

some of these guys that leave and go elsewhere and don't perform, i wonder what kinda bargains they can drive with NIL lol. I'd take Allette Back he seemed solid but thought he was better than he was. Maybe we pushed him out.
He was really bad outside of a couple of games. I don’t miss him at all.

Freshmen are getting squeezed out of the top conferences. With the NIL, you better perform or go elsewhere.

Ok, So Bugg from what i understand wanted to stay but was looking for a bit of some sort've guarantee for playing time, and coaches wouldn't give it. Assuming they plan on Getting a few guards from portal. Lincoln is a bigger, buffer more vertical athlete and more prepared to start day one. again, i thought he has potential for sure, but unfortunately it's about winning now. Slight of frame. Big 12 is big boy basketball. I hate losing freshmen. Sometimes i wonder if it economically makes more sense to pay a bit of a cheaper amount of top 50ish type guys if you can get them, instead of the portal, but it's so difficult. This sport is in a ridiculous position. Bidunga from KU is asking for 5 mil. Alas, we got Robinson back. We get Punch back and it's game on. ESPN Has us top 16 next year. That's nuts. Bugg will be good, but in today's game no patience. Hope he does well.
