How so? Sounds pretty straight forward to me and remember, truth is an absolute defense to defamation of character!

It can be taken as an infringement on their future employment. Most employers avoid saying anything about the fromer employees other than the very basics such yes they worked here, at what position and for how long.

Technically LSU was not their employer, but it is an extremely fine line.

It looks like that has been the norm there looking at how weathered the paper is on the left. He just changes the names monthly.
