Phillips and Hodge named State's Best

TCU's Jason Phillips has been named by Dave Campbell's 2008 Texas Football as the state's Defensive Player of the Year and Best Linebacker, while safety Stephen Hodge is tabbed as the Best Defensive Back in Texas. Seven Frogs received All-Texas College honors. Offensively, TCU's three first-team selections tied Texas Tech for the lead.
