Thanks to allowing no sacks and just seven pressures, Niang had the second-highest pass-blocking efficiency mark among Big 12 tackles (behind Risner) at 99.2.

WIDE RECEIVER
First Team: Tylan Wallace, Oklahoma State

There was no better deep threat in college football than Wallace, who led the country with 20 deep receptions (20-plus yards downfield) and 708 yards.

First Team: L.J. Collier, TCU

Collier’s pass-rushing productivity mark of 8.9 was the second-highest among Big 12 edge defenders this season.

Second Team: Daniel Wise, Kansas

CORNERBACK
First Team: Brian Peavy, Iowa State

On 387 coverage snaps, most of which came against pass-happy Big 12 teams, Peavy allowed under 50% of passes thrown his way to be caught (48.9%) and limited receivers to just 52 yards after the catch while breaking up seven passes and recording an interception of his own.

Second Team: Innis Gaines, TCU

CORNERBACK
First Team: Jeff Gladney, TCU

Gladney averaged 15.7 coverage snaps per reception allowed this season, despite being targeted every 5.9 coverage snaps.
