As a Baylor grad/fan who has rooted for TCU during the 18 years BU was lost in the football wilderness, I wanted to offer some outside perspective. When you consider what you all went through this year (distractions, lost players, move conferences) and the absolute youth of your team, you had a great year. Less than what you are used to but amazing given challenges. I get the frustration of losing on muffed punt but you are set for a great year next year.
I compare to the youth on BU's basketball team. We can win at Kentucky but lose to some really, really, really bad programs. Not what we have started to grow used to but price of frosh players. At least in football, those guys don't leave after one year. You all are set for future - just have to live through some growing pains.
See you next year. Glad old rivals are back.
