TCU: Sources tell us Arlington Bowie head coach Kenny Perry will join the TCU staff in a high school relations capacity.

[Opintel]

CRO?

Chief Recruiting Officer...?

[NubomTurk]

I guess she needs something to do after divorcing Russel Brand.

Well, if anyone can attract high school seniors, she's the one to do it!

[bscttyb]

Interesting, can only help us! Welcome aboard Kenny!

[gohornedfrogs]

Didn't he win at Colonial a few years ago?

[Frog-in-law1995]

Dude was stout at Colonial. Lapped the field twice, iirc.

Edit: great minds, gohornedfrogs....

If you think this is devonte's old coach you will be chastised heavily. Of course everyone know the names of the schools where our kids came from..duh

[audiofrog]

Not Devonte's coach. Devonte is a Martin product, not Bowie. Steve Wesley is a Bowie kid

[Waccy Frog]

Devonte fields' old coach. Bowie is a powerhouse and having that kind of connection is excellent.

Ummm. No.

dFW has all the talent we need to win a title, just gotta get the kids to commit.

Ehh wrong lol

Didn't realize everyone but me knew which HS devonte came from. Looks like I need to stay out of recruiting threads here, too many sharks

Seriously...Kenny Perry has STRONG routes in Arlington...he was a stud saftey at Arl. Lamar before playing at UH...he came back to Arl was an assistant somewhere I think then got a couple head gigs before settling at Bowie.

The guy has to be seriously connected to Metroplex football and the State of Texas HS football in general. This sounds like a great hire.

Thank God... I could use some tips to get around. Arlington is a clusterdarn.
