Panthers expected to sign S Tre'von Moehrig to 3-year, $51 million deal​

Well, at least this latest Carolina Panthers deal has some tangible details.

According to FOX Sports NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Panthers are expected to sign free-agent safety Tre'von Moehrig to a three-year, $51 million contract.

A Jim Thorpe Award winner and two-time first-team All-Big 12 selection at Texas Christian University, Moehrig was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft by the Las Vegas Raiders. The 6-foot-2, 202-pounder has gone on to record 297 combined tackles, 3.0 sacks, six interceptions and 29 passes defensed over 66 games.
