Nat Champs? Not holding my breath. Haveing the D mostly back will be just as good, and if he's back, assuming Boykin & Mathews don't challenge him, we'll have a bigger passing threat, and yes, with Jame & Tucker both back the running game should be good. The biggest question? The O-Line. Wil its play get any better and stop letting through the oposing D through? If so the rest of the league better watch out. If not, our QB, whoeever it is, better watch out.

#1 I hope the kid gets it together for himself. Then a distant second is a desire for him to come back more focused than ever and lead this team through the B12 like he's supposed to.
Truth be told, when he was forced to turn over his keys and get lost, he gave Boykin the keys to a rugged old work truck. But if he gets the start next year, he will be handed the keys to a well oiled, bright shiny sports-car.

Sounds like he was doing only a 6 week rehab and was hoping a 3 mo/90 day program for him... to get some real clarity. Hopefully he'll learn to trust himself, first...

He is a good kid who has made some mistakes. Glad to see him trying to learn from the past and grow as a man. Sometime the kids that are not perfect are the ones that need the most patience and love. It's easy to cast stones, it's harder to teach.

A lot of our O=line problems would be less apparent with a QB that makes quicker decisions (experience), has a higher release point (both height and arm action) and doesn't tend to rely on the scram (remember he was practicing with the RB's). Nothing against TB (except the release), but a reformed CP would make our O line look a lot better.
Guys, look at the key players who graduate at the other schools. OSU was our only "real" loss this season. Heck, I think Boykin could lead us to a conference win. The O line will be MUCH improved, and the defense. Pachall will make our passing game amazing, and those running backs will pound any defense in the BXII. Our defense will dominate period!!!

We just dominated the line play enough to beat Texas on the road and only passed the ball 9 times all game from the QB position and we still have people who think the offensive line sucks. Freaking amazing. Our strategy earlier in the year combined with our QB's abilities caused the offensive line problems.
