This has really reached the point of the absurd
Trickle down economics
That would leave the MAC with 10 teams and 7 are in Mich./Ohio, not good for them. MWC still needs more.

I wonder how much money is in the coffersfor future payment due to the PAC from NCAA basketball compensation.
I still find myself to this day yelling this to my nieces when they ask me to get them something.
Sam Houston StateI vote Tarleton State to the MWC!!!!!
The PAC is being completely outmaneuvered by Gloria Navarez & the MWC.Still need another football team.
Would be interesting to hear Brett Yormark's honest thoughts on this. So, did the Big 12 screw up by not extending Gonzaga a full membership?

Absolutely not! Everyone needs to play football If the Big 12 wants to be a serious football conference. That is especially important if the Big 12 were to leave the NCAA along with all other top level football conferences. The last thing the Big 12 needs to be is a glorified Big East or CUSA.So, did the Big 12 screw up by not extending Gonzaga a full membership?
Yes, exactly. …..but ya gotta have 8 to be legal, and at least 10 to be viable, so the PAC & MWC have to go fish for some really bad teams. When UTEP is considered a steal that’s scraping the bottom.
The whole thing is desperately sad. I've said it I don't know how many times, and practically speaking one is too many because the scum bags with actual power won't let it happen, but just put the conferences back where they were in 1990. Not a single move that has happened since then has been for the best.Yes, exactly. …..but ya gotta have 8 to be legal, and at least 10 to be viable, so the PAC & MWC have to go fish for some really bad teams.
The AAC, if they can hold on to their teams, will probably be the winner.
