What do you think we should be ranked if we convincingly beat Mich St.?

I think we would beat all the teams in the current BCS rankings between #25-13.

25- Kent State -- easy win
24 - San Jose State -- they play football? easy win
23 - Ut -- been there done that
22 - Utah State -- easy win
21 - Louisville -- win
20 - Northwestern -- big 10 team, win
19 - Boise -- tough game... win
18 - Michigan -- are you kidding? win
17 - UCLA -- loss
16 - Nebraska -- tough game... win
15 - Northern Illinois -- spare me, win
14 - Clemson -- tough game, loss
13 - Oregon State - loss

With 5 losses, it's not too important where we are ranked. It won't be too pretty.

TCU will likely get a fair share of love pre-season 2013, particularly if Casey is in spring ball.

Unfortunately MSU does not have the kind of team that allows a lot of points. WVU took a huge jump because the put up 70 in their game. The press is often more impressed by a 14-point win where you score over 50 than a 28-0 win.

It will be a shame to not end the year ranked for the first time since 2007, but unlike 2008 where it was after our 4th game before we were ranked in the top 25, with a win in the BWW Bowl, we should start next year ranked in the top 20, especially if CP is practicing this spring.

I think with a good win, we can crack the last few spots. Several teams will fall out completely, and 20 - 25 are usually left for teams that finished strong regardless of losses, well, to a point. I think we'd definitely be a bubble team.

If we win then I think we should be unranked. Baylor is the only 5 loss B12 team with a shot at being top 25 IMHO.

I was shocked to see sports illustrated has our power rank at #22.

As far as next season Athlon Sports has us ranked 14th which isn't bad to start.

You mean the NCAA now requires voters to actually know a little something about the teams they vote on? When did this happen? :tongue:

Not sure there's such a thing as an easy win with this team.

21 - Louisville - depends on Teddy Bridgewater... I think narrow win
20 - Northwestern - tough win
19 - Boise - tough win
18 - Michigan - close loss

14 - Clemson -- fairly bad loss
