I had to find a second team to root for during the 70s and 80s. So when we played ND in South Bend in 72 and a ref told Coach Billah after complaining a clipping call was called on someone not playing that “if he couldn’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen”, I decided to pull for whomever the Doomers are playing!
