Because taxation is theft, changed from my previous moniker which was the name of a libertarian-conservative writer and political commentator. I'm still gunning to get into the top 10 of messages.
The dorm where I roomed with Satis1103
That's sort of a coincidence I suppose. I'm trying NOT to get into that top 10.I'm still gunning to get into the top 10 of messages.
We’re you bartending when the Ghost Riders came looking for some incredible friendships?Red door with the quote "where incredible friendships begin" bartended for a couple of years at the stables.
I’ve often wondered about this oneMine was the name of the TCU swim coach in ‘69/‘70 when we swam in that cesspool next to Clark Hall (20 yard pool, four lanes, with a pipe exiting the pool in the middle of lane2). His name was John “Rufe” Brewton. Since he never ever spelled my name correctly in the one year that I swam for him, I have misspelled his name in his dubious honor.
See this goes much deeper and is more interesting than a cursory look reveals. Nice back storyWhen I jumped on here back in the Don Dowell golfsw days TCU was running their “your hometown team” ad campaign. I’m a local kid who grew up going to games and other stuff on campus. So that’s what I picked. Intentionally made them lower case just because I was feeling contrarian or something.
rather boring
We may need more info….I chose Bruce Berry after Neil Young's Roadie who was immortalized in the song "Tonight's The Night"
The song changed my life in 1975.
Lol I never considered the initials. Well done. I hope we did not get you bannedLiked the initials, had to make it TCU related, didn't realize they would be an expletive on the forum. Oh well.
That’s funny.Nickname after bursting through a door in a dorm room. Alcohol aided feats of human strength.
That’s talent! As a Naval intelligence officer, my work was mostly on the analytical side. When I retired, I wanted to use more of my creative side. A friend got me hooked into quilting, which is creative, yet involves math and figuring out patterns and so on. The best of both worlds. My avatar is an appliqued horned frog from a wall hanging I made for my brother. It is crawling outside the quilt block!
Here is the whole picture:

My avatar is a selfie.Because I was a student then a police officer at TCU.
19 has a dual meaning, both as my badge number and my big brother's number from the band fraternity which then became mine. (This is completely outing myself to those that know, but who cares...)
Avatar is obviously the warfrog statue poised to attack, because as we all know they pose like panthers before leaping onto unsuspecting ants and tongue-bathing them to death.
I’ve often wondered"wexahu" was a random temporary password that was sent to me years ago. For some odd reason it became my message board handle.
